Diamond Academy Announces Fall Baseball Clinic

Diamond Academy is happy to announce that we will be hosting a FREE Fall baseball clinic for any player ages 10-12 on September 29th from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Manchester Valley High School. Players from any program can attend.

The clinic will focus on the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching and catching.

DA 13U Grey Defeats Montgomery County Grays 7-4

Diamond Academy 13u Grey started their scoring in the bottom of the 1st inning when a Grayson M. walk and an error led to 2 DA runs. DA 13U Grey took the lead for good in the bottom of the 4th inning after Sam G. singled, and Ethan C. doubled, each driving in two runs. Diamond Academy's offense was led by Sam G (3 for 3 w/ 2 rbi), Ethan C, (2 rbi )and Grayson M (2-2).

The Team was running wild on the bases too! DA 13U Grey tallied 8 stolen bases, w/ Sam & Josh T swiping multiple bases.

DA 13U Grey's got strong performances from their hurlers as well. Starting pitcher Kaden G. tossed 2 innings, giving up only two hits & 2 base on balls, while striking out one. Kaeden W. pitched the final 3 2/3 innings in relief, allowing only 1 hit, 0 earned runs, and striking out two.

Diamond Academy 16/17U defeats Stars Prime at the Dynamic Baseball End of the summer Showcase Championship 7-1

Diamond Academy 16/17U scored four runs in the fifth inning, which helped them defeat the Stars 7-1 on Saturday 10/21/23. Brady Kies singled, scoring one run and Mason Dean singled, scoring two runs and another run was scored on an error.

Brady Kies earned the win for the Diamond Academy. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and one run(zero earned) over six innings, striking out six and walking three.

Mason Dean led the team with two hits with two at bats. Trevor Hottenstein and Dean each stole multiple bases for the Diamond Academy team.

DA 15/16U Team Begins the Fall Season with Success!

Congratulations to our DA 15/16U Team, who finished as Runner Ups at the In the Dirt Labor Day Classic this past weekend. The Team went 2-2 on the weekend, led by some strong pitching perfomances.

Diamond Academy 15/16U Takes Victory Over Warehouse Sports Academy in Pitcher's Duel

Both teams were strong on the pitcher's mound Saturday, but Diamond Academy 15/16U defeated Warehouse Sports Academy 2-1. Diamond Academy 15/16U pitchers allowed just four hits to Warehouse Sports Academy.

Thomas McGrew earned the victory on the mound for Diamond Academy 15/16U. The fireballer lasted three innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking one.

Luke Christman went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Diamond Academy 2023 15/16U in hits.

Diamond Academy 15/16U Grabs Lead in Seventh Inning for Victory Over Hittman Baseball Club

Diamond Academy 15/16U stole the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over Hittman Baseball Club on Sunday. The game was tied at four with Diamond Academy batting in the top of the seventh, when an error scored one run for Diamond Academy. Diamond Academy earned the victory despite allowing Hittman Baseball Club to score four runs in the third inning.

Diamond Academy started their scoring in the second inning, and evened things up at four in the top of the fifth inning when Thomas McGrew grounded out, scoring one run.

Diamond Academy put up three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by Diamond Academy was led by Mason Dean, Preston Haubert, and McGrew, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Haubert earned the victory on the mound for his Team. Haubert lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and four runs while striking out two. Connor Ice threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Trevor Hottenstein led his Team in offense, going 3-4 on the day.

13U Diamond Academy Makes Road Trip

The 13U Diamond Academy Team took their "show" on the road, as they visited FNB Field, the home of the Harrisburg Senators Minor League Baseball Team, for some fun and team bonding, as they concluded their 2023 campaign. The 13U Team was recognized by the Senators, as they got to meet players, and enjoy some fun events on the field.

DA 15/16U Has Another Strong Performance This Year

The Diamond Academy 15/16U contiuned their successful season with another strong showing at the Essexs Father's Day Tournament. The Team made it to another Championship Game, and finished as Runner Up in the 16U Division.

Diamond Academy 15/16U Earns Win Over Severna Park 16U With Late Surge.

Diamond Academy 15/16U snagged a lead and defeated Severna Park 16u 9-6 on Sunday. The game was tied at one with Diamond Academy 15/16U batting in the top of the fourth when Trevor Hottenstein singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Diamond Academy 15/16U notched four runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by Diamond Academy 15/16U was led by Luke Christman, Braden Yacovissi, Ben McGrew, and Logan O’Byrne, all driving in runs in the inning.

Preston Haubert led the Diamond Academy 2023 15/16U to victory on the mound. The hurler went five innings, allowing four runs on seven hits and striking out two. Curtis Carroll threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Diamond Academy 15/16U totaled 13 hits on the day. Thomas McGrew, Christman, Yacovissi, Brady Kies, and Hottenstein each had multiple hits for Diamond Academy 15/16U.
