Diamond Academy 17/18U stole the lead late and defeated PSF 18U 7-3 on Sunday afteroon in the semi-finals of the Patrick Shifflett Memorial Tournament.  The game was tied at three apiece with Diamond Academy batting in the top of the sixth. Nick LoPreato's clutch double broke the tie, driving in two runs.

 

Alec Ely led things off on the mound for his Team. The pitcher went four and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on five hits, striking out one and walking one.

 

Hayden Askew went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Diamond Academy 17/18U in hits.
