Wennell's Walk-off Picture Perfect Ending In Diamond Academy White 15U's Victory Over Manchester Township 2(D)

Diamond Academy White 15U defeated Manchester Township 2(D) 10-9 on Sunday thanks to a walk-off walk. The game was tied at nine with Diamond Academy White 15U batting in the bottom of the fourth when Tony Wennell drew a walk, scoring one run.

Manchester Township 2(D) scored five runs in the second inning, but Diamond Academy White 15U still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive onslaught by Manchester Township 2(D) was led by Nick and Jonathan, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Manchester Township 2(D) fired up the offense in the first inning, when Robert drew a walk, scoring one run.

After Manchester Township 2(D) scored five runs in the top of the second, Diamond Academy White 15U answered with five of their own. Manchester Township 2(D) scored when Nick was struck by a pitch, driving in a run and Jonathan homered on a 1-0 count, scoring four runs. Diamond Academy White 15U then answered when an error scored one run for Diamond Academy White 15U, Tyler Wright drew a walk, scoring one run, and an error scored three runs for Diamond Academy White 15U.

Bradley Flam led things off on the hill for Diamond Academy White 15U. He allowed four hits and nine runs over three and a third innings, striking out five.

Nick started the game for Manchester Township 2(D). He lasted three innings, allowing four hits and ten runs while striking out five.

Wennell, Nate Lankford, Kam Estes, and Nicholas LoPreato each collected one hit to lead Diamond Academy White 15U.

Jonathan went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Manchester Township 2(D) in hits.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U Clinches Lead in Fourth Inning for Victory Over Southeastern 1

Diamond Academy Blue 15U defeated Southeastern 1 12-4 on Sunday after taking the lead late in the game. Diamond Academy Blue 15U was down 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Zach Stranathan singled on a 3-2 count, scoring three runs.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U earned the victory despite allowing Southeastern 1 to score three runs in the second inning. Southeastern 1 batters contributing to the big inning included #77, #38, and #42, who all drove in runs.

In the first inning, Diamond Academy Blue 15U got their offense started when Brad Burns grounded out, scoring one run.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U took the lead for good with nine runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Aidan Nahum singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, Alec Nahum singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, an error scored two runs for Diamond Academy Blue 15U, and Adam Bryant singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Nahum led things off on the hill for Diamond Academy Blue 15U. He lasted two innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out two and walking zero.

#18 was on the pitcher's mound for Southeastern 1. He went three innings, allowing eight runs on five hits and striking out one. #13 threw two innings out of the bullpen.

Bryant led Diamond Academy Blue 15U with two hits in three at bats.

 

Diamond Academy Blue 15U Goes Down on Final Play Against Spring Grove 1

It came down to the last play, but Diamond Academy Blue 15U was on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to Spring Grove 1 on Sunday. The game was tied at six with Spring Grove 1 batting in the bottom of the sixth when Gorham singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U lost despite out-hitting Spring Grove 1 eight to five.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U got things moving in the first inning, when Adam Bryant singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Spring Grove 1 tied things up at six when Leggett grounded out, scoring one run.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U tallied three runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Diamond Academy Blue 15U was led by VJ Perricone, Alec Nahum, and Brad Burns, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Spring Grove 1 scored three runs in the fifth inning. Spring Grove 1 scored its runs on a groundout by Leggett.

Reichart led things off on the mound for Spring Grove 1. He allowed four hits and two runs over three innings, striking out four.

Ben Coleman led things off on the hill for Diamond Academy Blue 15U. He allowed one hit and three runs over three and a third innings, striking out six. Burns and Zach Stranathan entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U scattered eight hits in the game. Bryant, Perricone, and Aidan Nahum all collected multiple hits for Diamond Academy Blue 15U. Bryant went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Diamond Academy Blue 15U in hits. Diamond Academy Blue 15U tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Bryant led the way with two.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U Clinches Lead in Sixth Inning to Defeat Shiloh Legion

Diamond Academy Blue 15U stole the lead late and defeated Shilo Legion 15-8 on Sunday. The game was tied at six with Diamond Academy Blue 15U batting in the top of the sixth when Brady Brathuhn was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Diamond Academy Blue 15U collected 12 hits and Shilo Legion had nine.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U got things moving in the first inning. Adam Bryant's sac fly scored one run for Diamond Academy Blue 15U.

In the top of the fifth inning, Diamond Academy Blue 15U tied things up at six. Alec Nahum grounded out, scoring one run.

Brad Burns led the Diamond Academy Blue 15U to victory on the hill. He allowed nine hits and seven runs over five and a third innings, striking out four. Ben Coleman threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Ropp led things off on the mound for Shilo Legion. He surrendered six runs on eight hits over five innings, striking out two. Tate threw one inning in relief.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U collected 12 hits. Zach Stranathan, VJ Perricone, Bodey Griffin, Ryan Scarff, and Aidan Nahum all collected multiple hits for Diamond Academy Blue 15U. Nahum, Scarff, Griffin, Perricone, and Stranathan each collected two hits to lead Diamond Academy Blue 15U.

Shilo Legion totaled nine hits in the game. Sechrist and Stump each racked up multiple hits for Shilo Legion.

 

Nathum's Walk-off Gives Diamond Academy Blue 15U Victory Over Shiloh Legion 

It came down to the wire on Sunday, with Diamond Academy Blue 15U taking victory on a dramatic walk-off single in the late innings that sealed their victory over Shilo Legion. The game was tied at 13 with Diamond Academy Blue 15U batting in the bottom of the fifth when Alec Nahum singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Diamond Academy Blue 15U collected ten hits and Shilo Legion had six.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U opened up an early lead in the first inning when an error scored two runs for Diamond Academy Blue 15U.

Ryan Scarff was credited with the victory for Diamond Academy Blue 15U. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over two-thirds of an inning, walking zero. Zach Stranathan threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Barnett was on the mound for Shilo Legion. He surrendered eight runs on five hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one. Stump and Jones entered the game as relief, throwing two-thirds of an inning and one-third of an inning respectively.

Diamond Academy Blue 15U racked up ten hits. Nahum, Brad Burns, Ethan Smith, and Bodey Griffin each managed multiple hits for Diamond Academy Blue 15U. Nahum went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Diamond Academy Blue 15U in hits.

Shilo Legion tallied six hits. Stump and Hughes each collected multiple hits for Shilo Legion. Stump led Shilo Legion with three hits in three at bats.

Diamond Academy White 15U Clinches Lead in Fourth Inning for Victory Over North Codorus

Diamond Academy White 15U took the lead late in the game in a 9-3 victory over North Codorus on Sunday. The game was tied at three with Diamond Academy White 15U batting in the bottom of the fourth when an error scored one run for Diamond Academy White 15U.

North Codorus got on the board in the first inning. An error scored two runs for North Codorus.

Blain College pitched Diamond Academy White 15U to victory. He allowed four hits and three runs over three innings, striking out six and walking one. Nate Lankford threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

College went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Diamond Academy White 15U in hits.

Diamond Academy White 15U Outdone by North Codorus, 6-4

 

Diamond Academy White 15U opened up scoring in the first inning. Nicholas LoPreato's sac fly scored one run for Diamond Academy White 15U.

North Codorus knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the second inning. Zach M drew a walk, scoring one run.

North Codorus pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Jaydon S doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

S was on the mound for North Codorus. He went five and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on three hits and striking out three.

Bradley Flam toed the rubber for Diamond Academy White 15U. He lasted two innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out one and walking one. Jackson Gifford and Nate Lankford entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.

Lankford, Flam, Sean Dietz, and Blain College each collected one hit to lead Diamond Academy White 15U.

  The Diamond Academy remains in full swing year round offering indoor lessons.  The off season is the time for players to get their reps in and continue to work on fundamentals so that when the spring comes, they can be ready to take the field.
