Diamond Academy 16/17U defeated Elkridge 17U 7-1 on Sunday thanks to their powerful offense, 10 hits on the day, and strong pitching. Diamond Academy got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Cayden Murray doubled, driving in two runs, and Luke Christman grounded out, scoring one run. Diamond Academy put the game away for good in the fitfth inning they scored four more runs. Christman doubled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Ben McGrew doubled, driving in the final two runs.
