Alec Nahum

Alec started playing baseball at age 8.  What he loves most about baseball is: "I really like the competitiveness and how teams can come back if they are down by a lot and they don't give up." His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Practice on your own so  you can improve."  Favorite class: Science, because we get to do interesting experiments.  Favorite food: Waffles.  Bucket list item: To play in the MLB.

 
 

Bradley Flam

Bradley started playing baseball at age 9.  What he loves most about baseball is: "I love the pressure and excitement of pitching in a game. " His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Have fun with it."  Favorite class: AP Government, because my teacher makes it really interesting.  Favorite food: Nachos.  Bucket list item: I want to see at least 1 came at every major league baseball field.

 
 

Nate Lankford

Nate started playing baseball at age 5.  What he loves most about baseball is: "I just love playing the game, being part of a team and seeing us succeed." His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Stick with it and never give up when it gets hard."  Favorite class: World History, because you get to learn about artifacts.  Favorite food: Crabs.  Bucket list item: Skydiving.

McGuire started playing wiffle ball at his court at age 3.  What he loves most about baseball is: "I get to have fun and be close with my teammates." His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Work hard but most of all have fun."  Favorite class: Freshman Seminar, because it gives me the tools I need to get good grades in high school.  Favorite food: Bacon Cheeseburgers.  Bucket list item: To make it the the MLB.

 
 

Bodey Griffin

Bodey started playing baseball at age 7.  What he loves most about baseball is: "The brotherhood with teammates." His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Don't focus on one position. Try to play as many as possible."  Favorite class: Ag Science because it involves what I am intersted in.  Favorite food: Lasagna.  Bucket list item: To win a baseball tournament.

VJ started playing baseball at age 4.  What he loves most about baseball is: "Competing and making a bond wih my teammates" His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Have fun with everything and try new positions."  Favorite class: Gym, because I get to be active.  Favorite food: Pizza.  Bucket list item: Hit a Dinger.

Aidan started playing baseball at age 8.  What he loves most about baseball is: "There is a lot of strategy involved and you have to think about what you're going to do on each play." His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Practice as much as you can and you'll get better."  Favorite class: Geometry, because you can always come up with different ways to solve the same problem.  Favorite food: Gold Fish crackers.  Bucket list item: To visit all of the continetns of the world.

 
 

Jackson Gifford

Jackson started playing baseball at age 5.  What he loves most about baseball is: "How competative it can be." His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Don't give up, if it gets hard push yourself out of your comfort zone."  Favorite class: Physics, because I've always loved science.  Favorite food: Chicken Cordon Bleu.  Bucket list item: To go scuba diving in Hawaii.

 

Nick Lopreato

Nick started playing baseball at age 4.  What he loves most about baseball is: "It's not just a game of skill, it's a game of strategy. If each player does his job we can function as a team." His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Practice like you play. I would also tell them what my grandfather told me, to swing for the fences and touch all the bases as you go."  Favorite class: Physical Education because I like to stay active and try different sports.  Favorite food: I like to eat everything, especially my mom's cooking.  Bucket list item: To go deep sea fishing.

 

Blain College

Blain started playing baseball at age 5.  What he loves most about baseball is: All the different pitches and gulpes. All pitchers can make the ball do crazy things. His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "If you ever feel like giving up the sport, don't. Give it some time and put the work in and the game will turn into a lot of fun."  Favorite class: Science/Chemistry, because I like to mix chemicals together and make chemical reactions.  Favorite food: Homestyle potatoes. Brady started playing baseball at age 5.  What he loves most about baseball is: How fun it is to just play and get better. His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Put 100% effort in and try to have fun and you will see yourself getting better."  Favorite class: Chemistry, I think it is just cool to mix chemicals and see the different outcomes.  Favorite food: Pizza.  Bucket list item: To graduate high school and get a job that I like.

 

Zach Stranathan

Zach started playing baseball at age 5.  What he loves most about baseball is: I love the team comradery and the all out competitiveness of the game. His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "If you want to be successful in the sport make sure to work hard everyday. Also make sure to have fun."  Favorite class: My favorite class would have to be gym because you get to be active.  Being active is fun for me.  Favorite food: Domino's pizza.  Bucket list item: To go somewhere tropical like Bora-Bora and stay in an over water bungalow.

 

 

Braylon Haubert

 Braylon started playing baseball at age 4.  What he loves most about baseball is: playing with my friend and being able to play every weekend. His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Don't give up play or get down on yourself and practice like you play."  Favorite class: Math -because it comes easy to him and he likes it when its challenging.  Favorite food: He likes snacks but, especially ice cream.  Bucket list item: Playing high school baseball.

 

Sean Dietz

Sean started playing baseball at age 7.  What he loves most about baseball is: fielding and making a bond with my teammates. His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Always try your hardest and don't give up even if you have a rough season."  Favorite class: Honors US history and Geometry are my favorite classes.  I love history and learning about the past.  Chemistry is cool also.  I like the stuff we do in class.  Favorite food: Terriyaki Chicken.  Bucket list item: Riding all the rides at Hershey Park.

  

Ryan Scarff

Ryan started playing baseball at age 5 or 6.  What he loves most about baseball is: "I love how much of a team sport and independent sport it is.  For example, you rely on your teammates to make plays defensively, but you rely on yourself to make plays at the plate." His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "Have fun with it and if you really like it don't just work in practice work on some things at home too."  Favorite class: History, because I think it is very interesting.  Favorite food: Steak.  Bucket list item: Move to Los Angeles.

 

Tony Wennell

Tony started playing baseball at age 4.  What he loves most about baseball is: "The people you meet and the fun you have! I have made so many friends over the years in the blue sox.  It was awesome!" His advice to younger players just getting into baseball, "It's not all about being the best on the team, it's about having fun with others. "Please watch baseball!"- Coach Scotty"  Favorite class: Government, because I like to learn about politics and what is going on in the world.  Favorite food: Chicken Tenders.  Bucket list item: I'd like to go skydiving and my uncle promised to take me when I turn 18!
